Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 24th Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“My bipartisan legislation to commemorate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage was signed into law by President Trump. Our region has a long history of fighting for women’s suffrage. The leader of the women’s suffrage movement, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, was born and raised in Johnstown right here in NY-21. I’m honored to pay tribute to her lifetime of incredible work and advocacy along with many other leaders of the women’s suffrage movement.”

This bill authorizes the minting of commemorative coins to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage and ensures that the suffragists who dedicated their lives to fighting for women’s fundamental right to vote are celebrated throughout the United States. All funding for this project will come from the sale of the coins to private citizens at zero cost to our American taxpayers.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
