THE SUN: Stefanik weighs in on Biden’s 100-day address

April 29, 2021 By News Report

WASHINGTON, D.C. | U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R) issued a statement following President Joe Biden’s Joint Address to Congress April 28.

The statement read in full as follows:

“President Biden’s Joint Address to Congress continued his empty inaugural promise of bipartisanship. The truth is, in his first 100 days, President Biden has outreached more to China and Iran than Republicans, and he has alienated half of the country by governing as the most Far-Left President in American history.”

“Instead of addressing the crisis at our southern border, President Biden supports amnesty for all. He proposed raising taxes, failed to support law enforcement, doubled down on radical environmental policies like canceling the Keystone Pipeline, and supported unconstitutional proposals to infringe on the Second Amendment. These are not bipartisan actions that will unify the country, they are radical mandates from the far-left of the Democrat Party.”
