Saratoga, NY: Today, the New York State Laborers’ Union, Local 157 unanimously endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election. Laborers’ Local 157 is the Greater Capital Region branch of the New York State Laborers’ Union which has membership in Fulton and Saratoga County, a union with over 500,000 members that is dedicated to ensuring fair wages, working conditions and prosperity for North American workers. The New York State Laborers’ Union represents over 40,000 members employed in the construction industry and other fields throughout the state.
“Congresswoman Stefanik knows that our hardworking families deserve fair wages and safe working conditions,” said Laborers’ Local 157 President Glenn Marek. “She fights for our workers because she understands our Upstate New York values; she understands hard work and dedication. Her independent record demonstrates her clear support for our workers and their families. We’re proud to endorse Elise’s re-election to Congress because we know that she will always fight for us in Washington.
