Elise Stefanik Campaigns in Washington County, comments on National Small Business Week
Greenwich— While campaigning today in Washington County, Republican and Conservative Congressional candidate Elise Stefanik visited small businesses in Fort Edward and Greenwich, including Ye Old Fort Diner, Capital Tractor, and Whalen Chevrolet and made comments on National Small Business Week.
“Small businesses are an essential part of the North Country’s economy. Our next Member of Congress must fight to help our small businesses grow” said Elise Stefanik. “Working for my family’s small business, which has hundreds of customers throughout the North Country, I understand how the failed policies from Washington are hurting our small businesses. If elected, I will work to cut taxes and reduce the job killing regulations that are stifling our economy in the North Country.”
This week is an important reminder that small businesses and entrepreneurs are the economic engines that help our nation grow. Since the beginning of her campaign, Elise has been visiting small businesses to hear their concerns about the high taxes, burdensome regulations, and economic uncertainty that hinders the ability for small businesses to grow and create jobs. She will continue to focus on promoting policies that help small businesses create economic opportunity by cutting taxes, reforming the tax code, reducing government regulations and repealing Obamacare.
Elise is the only endorsed Republican candidate running in the June 24 Republican primary, having won the endorsement of 11 of the 12 Republican County Committees. Elise is also the only Conservative Party candidate who will appear on the ballot this November.
