Secured $997,000 for Essex County’s Agriculture and Youth Center
I will always advocate for our rural communities. This Congress, I proudly delivered nearly $1 million in funding for Essex County’s Agriculture and Youth Center in order to upgrade their facility and support a variety of programs for local kids.

As a new mom, I understand how important access to healthy meals and support for childcare. I was proud to vote to pass the bipartisan Keep Kids Fed Act of 2022, which helps ensure our children can access the food they need while fixing school meal programs.

I’m proud that my office has recovered over $7 million from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Small Business Administration (SBA) since 2015. Throughout the pandemic, my team worked tirelessly to assist NY-21 families and small businesses.
Expanded Pell Grants

Passing the School-Based Health Centers Reauthorization Act
Elise co-led the School-Based Health Centers Reauthorization Act, legislation that will reauthorize the School-Based Health Centers program through 2024 and provide them with federal funding to continue providing students with affordable health care.
