Successfully led the fight to unmask our kids

New York kids, parents, and teachers suffered from illegal, forced mask mandates in our schools. I proudly stood up and fought back against Hochul’s authoritarian mandate until it was successfully lifted. I will never stop fighting for our kids.

Supporting First Responders

This Congress, I proudly voted to advance the bipartisan Public Safety Officer Benefit Support Act. This legislation would expand coverage for public safety officers who die or are disabled as a result of traumatic experiences. I will always support our first responders.

Led the fight to oust Corrupt Cuomo

As the 1st federal elected official to call for Corrupt Cuomo’s resignation & arrest following his deadly nursing home cover-up, I have continued to call for his arrest for his various crimes, including sexual assault allegations. I won’t stop until Cuomo is held accountable.

Stopping Dangerous ‘Bail Reform’ to protect our communities

Kathy Hochul’s dangerous ‘bail reform’ laws have cost lives. I helped introduce the Stop Enabling Repeat Violence and Endangering (SERVE) Our Communities Act to help incentivize New York to implement policies that will stop dangerous criminals and hold repeat offenders accountable.

Supporting Veteran families

This Congress, I introduced a bipartisan bill to take action for the family of World War II veteran Ernest Peltz. This legislation helps veteran families overcome bureaucratic hurdles at the VA and secure accrued pension benefits for an ailing or recently passed veterans. I will always support veteran families.

Protecting milk choices in our schools

North Country and Upstate New York dairy farmers work hard to provide nutritious milk for our communities. I led bipartisan efforts to successfully delay Mayor Eric Adams’ ban on flavored milk in NYC schools. I will continue fighting to protect milk choices in New York public schools.

Saving North Country Hospitals Millions

Carthage Area Hospital, Lewis County General Hospital, and Gouverneur Hospital were all in jeopardy of losing their critical access hospital designation. After my long bipartisan advocacy, these three hospitals are no longer in danger of losing millions in federal funds.

Preserving North Country history

The legacy of President Grant in the North Country holds important historical significance not only to NY-21, but to our nation. I am proud that following my advocacy, Grant’s Cottage is now designated as a Historic Landmark.
