SARATOGA, NY — Today, House Republican Chairwoman Elise Stefanik released a statement regarding the repeated and illegal false smear campaign by Far Left Democrats in New York’s 21st Congressional District. Just two years ago, Radical Far Left Democrats illegally forged a letter from a well-known and beloved small business owner and friend of Congresswoman Stefanik, Jerry DiManno of Poopie’s DiManno’s Lunch, in an attempt to sway votes in the 2022 Election. Now, just two short years later — almost to the day, these illegally forged letters are being distributed yet again. |
| Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) stated:
“It is absolutely reprehensible that Radical Far Left Democrats are illegally targeting my longtime friend and supporter Jerry DiManno. This ridiculous false smear campaign, once again shows the depravity and desperation of the Far Left, working to disgracefully and illegally sway this election away from Republicans. News for them — it will not work. Everyone knows Jerry is one of President Trump’s and my strongest supporters in the district. Republicans will win big up and down the ticket to save New York and save America.”
Jerry DiManno stated: “For the second time, Far Left Democrats and Never Trumpers are so desperate they sent out a false mailer claiming to be me, to illegally send out false mailers under my name disparaging the Congresswoman now two election cycles in a row. It’s a serious crime. Everyone knows that I am one of Elise Stefanik and President Trump’s strongest supporters. Both Elise and President Trump are going to win her district in another landslide.”
