SARATOGA, N.Y. – House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement:
“Not only is Kathy Hochul the Worst Governor in America, she is also the most corrupt.
Now Hochul has weaponized redistricting by forcing the selection of her hand-picked judge, a former senior staffer to her and Andrea Stewart-Cousins to rig the case in the Democrats’ partisan sham lawsuit to steal a seat from the hardworking families of Staten Island.
Justice Jeffrey Pearlman, whom Hochul personally appointed, was Stewart-Cousins’ election lawyer, her Chief of Staff, and Hochul’s own special counsel.
Kathy Hochul and New York Democrats are hemorrhaging support at the ballot box, so Kathy Hochul is illegally weaponizing the courts to rig election laws, allow Tish James’ illegal lawfare, and now the selection of this Democrat activist judge.
New Yorkers deserve fair maps, fair elections, and common-sense leadership. FIRE HOCHUL. SAVE NEW YORK.”
