“Carson Daly brings out New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who is greeted by far more boos than cheers. Daly attempts to tamp down the boos by telling the crowd to calm down and by joking that she isn’t NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, but it hardly works. Hochul quickly asks the crowd to give it up for Team USA, which briefly reduces the boos before they return just as quickly.
Hochul rushes off the stage a moment later, prompting Daly to joke, “That went well.’”
