New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik, who is the No. 3 ranking member in the House majority, said she thinks that Vice President Harris should speak out against billionaire Mark Cuban’s comments on female supporters of former President Trump.
Cuban said during an appearance on “The View” this week that Trump is doesn’t have any “strong and intelligent women” behind him.
“They’re intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them. Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her around. It wouldn’t work,” Cuban said on the show Thursday.
That prompted Stefanik to push back, arguing it was a “sexist disgrace.”
“Democrats have an uncanny ability to say what they think, to show their disdain for the American people. And just two days ago, Joe Biden, the sitting president of the United States, called 250 million Americans ‘garbage.’ And then we have Kamala Harris’s top ally basically calling women who support President Trump weak and dumb, saying that you can’t be strong and intelligent and support President Trump. That is the disgraceful closing argument that Democrats are making.”
“I’m proud to be the highest-ranking woman in the United States Congress,” she said in a video. “When I ran, I was the youngest woman ever elected. I’m the most senior woman on the House Arms Services Committee, the House Intelligence Committee and I proudly am voting and endorse President Trump.”
“Save America in five days, vote Trump,” she added.
