And at heart, President Trump is always a New Yorker, born and raised in New York, helped build this city. And he is going to the epicenter of failed Democrat policies where we have a crime crisis. We have an illegal migrant crisis, and you just have catastrophic leadership from Democrat officials in New York State. Compare that with the America First movement under President Trump. He is going on offense in these key swing districts and key states, and I’ve been a big believer that President Trump can make history in New York. You’re seeing historic support among African American voters, Hispanic American voters, Jewish voters, working class people who feel that what we have seen under Kamala Harris has been an abject failure. This is a great way to close out the final week. And it’s also important in New York, we had early voting for the first day yesterday, and we need to surge the polls to make sure that our voices are heard.” On President Trump’s Inroads in New York State: “Well, we have to be. And the road to the House Majority goes through New York State. As your listeners and viewers know, five of those seats flipped in New York from Democrat to Republican. That literally is the reason New Yorkers fired Nancy Pelosi once and for all. Donald Trump, last night I was proud to host a telerally with him reaching over 1 million voters in those key congressional swing districts in the Hudson Valley, Upstate, and on Long Island. What’s most important to know is Kamala Harris is underperforming Donald Trump in every single swing district. She is also underperforming where Joe Biden was in 2020. So President Trump’s support is surging in these districts. And he is committed to making sure that we have a House Republican Majority. I think we can pick up seats. We have two opportunities to pick up with Alison Esposito, former NYPD leader who is running against Pat Ryan, and then Mike LiPetri, who is running on a seat on Long Island to defeat Tom Suozzi.” On Americans Wanting A Return To President Trump’s Successful America First Agenda: “It’s the border and the economy. No matter where I go, those are the top two issues. People are struggling under Kamala economics. She was the deciding vote for the Inflation Expansion Act, and that, of course, has led to historic inflation that is crushing family budgets, hurting small businesses, farms, manufacturers. And then the border: in my district, I represent the Northern Border, and you’ve been up there, Joe. You see it. We have seen a catastrophic skyrocketing of illegals crossing, not just on our Southern Border, but our Northern Border as well. It has created huge, huge stresses on local law enforcement, on Border Patrol, and yet Kamala Harris and Joe Biden with the stroke of a pen could close our borders. They refuse to do so. Donald Trump will bring border security on day one. And then another issue that I think is increasingly important is people just see how far radicalized today’s Democrat Party is. And they want boys and men to compete in women and girls’ sports. And as a parent, and you know, this resonates. We want to give women those opportunities, not take them away from mediocre men. Plus, it does not protect our safety for our women and girls. That’s an issue this election cycle because Kamala Harris is so radical as are other Democrats on that issue.” On Kamala Harris’ Failed Foreign Policy: “Kamala Harris is unfit to step foot in the Oval Office as President of the United States. You pointed out, Joe, she was the last person in the room advising Joe Biden of that catastrophic decision that led to the withdrawal from Afghanistan and, of course, those 13 service members who lost their lives. And they don’t even have the decency, Kamala Harris or Joe Biden, to pick up the phone to meet with those Gold Star families. President Trump has met with them extensively as have I and other leaders. That is our responsibility. But the rest of the world saw that withdrawal as well. And Putin invaded Ukraine. And then, of course, you have the Iranian backed Hamas attack against Israel and the Hezbollah attacks and the Iran direct attacks on Israel. Compare that to President Trump. We had peace and stability throughout the world. You had the breakthrough of the Abraham Accords, the greatest achievement for normalization in the Middle East in a generation or longer than that. He was the strongest American president when it comes to standing by Israel. We need to return to that peace through strength, and this is particularly important in my district. I’ve been ten years on the Armed Services Committee, eight years on the House Intelligence Committee. That makes me one of the most Senior Members on both of those Committees. President Trump came to Fort Drum in my district, signed the National Defense Bill to rebuild our nation’s military through peace through strength. And what have we seen of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden? Weakness projected around the world. So literally the state of the world and of course, the state of our country is on the ballot this election cycle.” |
