Statement in Opposition to New York’s Dangerous ‘Prop 1’

SARATOGA, NY — Following the announcement of the statewide advertising campaign in opposition to New York’s dangerous Prop One, House GOP Chairwoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement:

“New Yorkers should vote NO on Prop 1. This is a desperate attempt by Far Left NY Democrats to backdoor more taxpayer funds for illegals, allow illegals to vote, and take away parental rights that would allow biological men the right to participate in girls’ and women’s sports.

Common sense New Yorkers across party lines have read the language of the amendment and refuse to be duped by deceptive gaslighting maneuvers by failed Democrats to desperately drive voters to the ballot box.

I urge all common-sense New Yorkers to flip their ballot over and Vote No on Prop 1.”
