GLENS FALLS, N.Y.– Today, the New York State Association of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NYSALC) once again endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election. The NYSALC applauded Congresswoman Stefanik for her steadfast support of its more than 26,000 members and their families.
“The New York State Association of Letter Carriers is proud to announce their endorsement of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s re-election to the 21st Congressional District of New York once again,” said George T. Mangold, president of the NYSALC AFL-CIO.“We appreciated Elise’s strong support in the passage of H.R .3076, which eliminated the pre-funding mandate of postal retirees’ health benefits, codified 6-day mail and package delivery, and integrated Medicare benefits for future postal annuitants. In addition, we appreciate her support regarding anti-privatization, door-to-door delivery, the Social Security Fairness Act (H.R. 82), and the Federal Retirement Fairness Act (H.R. 4268). The NYSALC is deeply grateful for Elise’s continued support on these issues and is proud to stand with her, as she will stand for us in the next Congress.”
