Washington, D.C.– Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) released the following statement congratulating New Yorkers on successfully defeating Democrat Ballot Propositions 1, 3, and 4.

Stefanik helped lead the charge to encourage New Yorkers to vote against ballot propositions 1,3, and 4. Last month, she penned anOp-Edwhich warned voters that these propositions would allow New York Democrats to rig elections in their favor by making it easier to gerrymander maps, increase fraud, and make room for ballot-harvesting.

“Not only did Republicanstriumphantlydefeat Democrats across New York last night, we defeated the greatest threat on the ballot: Democrats’ dangerous ballot propositions disguised as election reform. Voters saw through Democrats’ corrupt scheme to try and rig elections in their favor, and I’m proud to have played a role in spreading this message.

The more Democrats imposeunconstitutionalmandates, Socialist tax-hikes, and election-rigging schemes, the more Republicans will come together to fight back and Save New York. We’re going to continue this momentum into 2022 when we flip New York red and take back the House!”

In addition to supporting efforts against ballot propositions 1,3, and 4, Congresswoman Stefanik endorsed dozens of local New York Republicans running for office who won last night, including Danielle Fogel for New York Supreme Court in the 5th Judicial District.
