Saratoga: In the 2020 cycle alone, 51 Democrat local elected officials from all across the district have endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election to Congress. This is proof of Stefanik’s commitment to bipartisanship and working across the aisle to get Real Results for the North Country. Stefanik is ranked in the top 5% most bipartisan Members of Congress.

“I am proud to stand with my many local elected officials and colleagues in endorsing Elise Stefanik for Congress,” said Daniel Skamperle (D), City Council, City of Ogdensburg. “Along with her strong advocacy for our second amendment, work with labor unions, and legislative successes, Congresswoman Stefanik has proved beyond a doubt her capacity to lead. Elise has well represented the North Country’s values for three terms and I’m confident she will continue to deliver results in a fourth.”

“Elise continues to be a reliable, independent voice in Congress,” said Judith Wood-Shaw, Mayor, Village of Stillwater. “She has proven that she’s willing to work on both sides of the aisle to get things done for Upstate New York, and she keeps the promises that she makes to our hardworking families. We need more leaders like Elise who put the North Country first and work for us in Washington. I’m proud to endorse Elise Stefanik for Congress and look forward to working with her to keep supporting our communities.”

“Congresswoman Elise Stefanik most certainly has my endorsement for her reelection this November,” said Tim Scee (D), Town Supervisor, Hounsfeild. “Her strong and independent record puts her well ahead of the competition and proves both her willingness and ability to work with anyone, from either side of the aisle, in order to deliver results for the North Country. She is all parts accessible, conscientious, and caring, and I look forward to all that she can achieve in her next term.”

“Elise is ranked in the top 5% most bipartisan Members of Congress because she’ll work with anyone to deliver results for the North Country, and that is why she has earned my endorsement for reelection this November,” said Kim Trombley (D), Village Trustee, Village of Champlain. “She understands the unique issues and challenges that we face here at the Northern Tier, especially with our dairy industry, and she has fought hard to support important trade policies that will boost our local economies and bolster trade opportunities for our American manufacturers.”

“It came at no surprise when Elise was recognized as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress,” said Barry White (D), Town Council Member, Bangor. “Her ability to weave between party lines in order to foster the best results for our district helped to bring a divided nation closer together. I can say with the utmost certainty that no candidate, from this district or elsewhere, can bring politicians together to bring meaningful results to their constituents more so than Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.”

“Party politics do not prevent Elise Stefanik from making the best decisions for the North Country, and it will not stop me from endorsing her,” said Clerk Carrie Allen (D). “Elise Stefanik demonstrates North Country values on the national level by always working tirelessly to get the best results for her constituents. She is a role model to New York’s 21st district and to our nation as a whole.”

“I am incredibly proud of the historic support I have received this election cycle from 51 Democrat local elected officials throughout our district,” said Stefanik. “North Country elected officials and voters know that I have one of the most bipartisan records in all of Congress and that I will work with anyone to get Real Results for our region. My record of bipartisanship is a stark contrast to Taxin’ Tedra Cobb — who supports radical, Far-Left policies like banning guns, Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and raising taxes on hardworking North Country families. I’m proud to work with each of these 52 Democrat elected officials and will continue my record of working across the aisle to get things done after I win re-election in just 35 days.”
