Saratoga: Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election in New York’s 21st Congressional District. The Chamber is the world’s largest business advocacy organization and represents more than three million small businesses across America. It promotes free enterprise and job-creating policies for businesses across all regions and sectors, and endorses candidates who will work to advance a pro-growth agenda that will expand economic opportunity and jobs.

“In difficult times, we are reminded of the importance of having leaders that understand the genius of the American system of government and free enterprise and who are willing to tackle the hard problems that confront our nation,” said U.S. Chamber CEO Thomas J. Donohue. “As our nation faces many challenges and is collectively working to not just reopen our economy but return to growth and expanded opportunities for all Americans, we need leaders like Representative Stefanik. She has a proven track record of leading responsibly and standing up for good policies. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Elise and looks forward to partnering with her in the future.”

“I am honored to be endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for re-election to Congress,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our small businesses needed federal support more than ever. I worked tirelessly to ensure small businesses in my district were eligible for PPP loans to stay afloat and worked personally with many small businesses to ensure they had the information and resources they needed. I am proud and grateful to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for recognizing my work and my dedication to the North Country’s small business community and to a pro-growth agenda to pave the way for expanded economic opportunity and job creation in the North Country.”
