Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 49th Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I advocated for USDA funding to incentivize SNAP recipients to buy fruits & vegetables,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “Both our low-income families and farmers have struggled due to COVID-19, and this funding gives North Country families access to healthier foods while also helping our local farmers boost their produce distribution.”

COVID-19 has greatly impacted SNAP and other USDA programs as the need for these programs has increased exponentially throughout the pandemic. Congresswoman Stefanik requested that Congress provide the USDA with the resources needed to allow families to buy more local fruits and vegetables, which will also help North Country farmers who have been impacted by supply chain disruptions.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
