“Elise Stefanik’s voting record speaks volumes,”saidNFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “She continues to be a strong supporter of small businesses in New York and across the country. We are glad to endorse Stefanik today for re-election, and we look forward to continuing to work with her in the U.S. House of Representatives.”

“Small businesses are the backbone of our North Country economy,”said Congresswoman Stefanik.“Growing up in a small business family, I saw firsthand the unique challenges and struggles these businesses have. Throughout my time in Congress, I have been a consistent advocate for lowering taxes on small businesses and cutting burdensome regulations and red tape. The COVID-19 pandemic presented significant challenges for small businesses in my district and across the country. I worked closely with them throughout this economic crisis and was proud to deliver PPP loans to help their businesses stay afloat while closed. I was also a strong advocate for re-opening as soon as safely possible and worked with federal, state, and local officials to make that happen. I’m honored to earn the endorsement of the National Federation for Independent Businesses and will continue to partner with them to further initiatives that support our critical small businesses in Congress.”
