STEFANIK EARNS ENDORSEMENT OF FORTY-TWO REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATIC ELECTED LEADERS IN LEWIS COUNTY
– “As a Registered Democrat, I Appreciate her Dedication to Working Across the Aisle to Get Things Done” –
Glens Falls: The Stefanik campaign today announced the endorsement of forty-two top elected leaders in Lewis County. The grassroots endorsements include both Republican and Democratic officials.
“I fully endorse Congresswoman Stefanik,” said Democrat Richard Chartrand, County Legislator, District 5. “As someone who has previously worked at Fort Drum for 25 years, I have seen the impact the Congresswoman has had on the base. Her work on the House Armed Services Committee and her commitment to bringing a missile defense site to the base is the sort of dedication that makes a great Representative. She has also been incredibly accessible. Every single time I have reached out to her she has responded quickly and provided help. As a registered Democrat, I also appreciate her dedication to working across the aisle to get things done. If we want to continue to see Fort Drum prosper and a missile defense site brought to the North Country, Stefanik is the best person for the job.”
“I fully endorse Congresswoman Stefanik for re-election,” said Marilyn Patterson, Town Supervisor, Grieg. “She is committed to working with the President to help our military at Fort Drum, and has never voted to raise taxes. I think she is doing a great job for the people of Lewis County and we need to keep her in her position as our District Representative so she can continue her work. I encourage you to vote for Congresswoman Stefanik this upcoming election.”
“I am proud to endorse Congresswoman Stefanik,” said Ronald Burns, County Legislator, District 3. “She has been hard at work since her first term, fighting for her constituents in Lewis County and across the 21st District. She has been a firm supporter of our troops and our military veterans. I am pleased with the positive results that she has delivered for us and am certain she will continue to do so in the future. Come this November, Congresswoman Stefanik is the right choice.”
“I want to thank every one of these leaders across Lewis County for their endorsement,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I’m grateful for their support, and for the overwhelming support of our entire grassroots network of volunteers who have joined our campaign to continue delivering real results for Lewis County, and for every county across the North Country.”
