SCHOHARIE COUNTY, NY – Today, 79 Schoharie County elected officials including Republicans, Conservatives, and Independents endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election to Congress. This sets a record for the number of endorsements the Congresswoman has earned in Schoharie County including endorsements from every town in the county.

“I am pleased to endorse Congresswoman Elise Stefanik who has worked tirelessly supporting the people of Schoharie County. A perfect example of her dedication to her constituents is the securing of a grant to design the replacement of the Bridget Street bridge in Schoharie, which is vital to ensuring timely response by our first responders. We are truly fortunate to have Elise Stefanik representing us in Congress,” County Board of Supervisors Chairman and Conesville Town Supervisor Bill Federice said.

“Elise Stefanik is doing a great job for Upstate NY and the whole country. She works hard for our farmers and makes sure their voice is heard in Washington. She loves her country, she’s somebody you can talk to, and if you’ve got a problem she’s someone who knows how to get things done,” County Board of Supervisors Vice Chairman and Summit Town Supervisor Harold Vroman said.

“I endorse Congresswoman Stefanik 150%. If we had more people like her in this country we might be getting somewhere. As a farmer, I commend the Congresswoman for supporting us. It’s hard enough to try to make a living farming and with her support we’re able to keep our head above water,” Esperance Town Supervisor Earl VanWormer said.

“Elise Stefanik is proud to Back the Blue and I proudly support her re-election to the House of Representatives. Congresswoman Stefanik understands the needs of our first responders and has proven time after time that she can deliver the resources we need to keep our communities safe. She is dedicated to improving the lives of her constituents in the 21st District and I am grateful that we have an advocate like her,” Schoharie County Sheriff Ronald Stevens said.

“I am honored and humbled to have received the support of 79 Schoharie County elected officials. I’m proud to deliver real results for our communities in Schoharie County, and I look forward to continuing to fight on your behalf in Washington!” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
