GLENS FALLS, N.Y.–Today, following a roundtable discussion with more than a dozen local small business owners and elected officials, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) announcedtheir endorsement of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election. NFIB isthe nation’s leading small business advocacyorganization that advocates for thousands of small businesses across New York, including over 1,500 in New York’s 21st Congressional District.

Rep. Elise Stefanik is a proven supporter of New York’s small businesses,”said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “She has consistently voted with small businesses, earning a 100% NFIB voting record for this term, and was recently named an NFIB Guardian of Small Business. Rep. Stefanik has a strong understanding of the issues impacting small businesses and has advocated against legislation that would add burdensome regulations and increase taxes on small businesses. She has promoted pro-growth policies that strengthened the small business economy and has continued to be a pro-small business Member of Congress. We are proud to endorse her for re-election today.”

We are confident that Rep. Stefanik will continue to advocate for New York’s small businesses in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She has been a reliable ally for them in Congress and we look forward to continuing to work with her.”

“I’m humbled and honored to once again earn the support of NFIB, which advocates for 1,500 small businesses in New York’s 21st Congressional District,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. “Small businesses and family farms across Upstate New York and the North Country know that I have a proven track record of delivering real results. Whether it’s leading the charge to repeal Hochul’s devastating farm overtime rule, recovering millions in benefits for local small businesses, expanding resources for workforce training, or enhancing tourism along our northern border, our small business community knows I have fought for them and always will. I look forward to continue working directly with NY-21’s small businesses as we stop Hochul’s war on rural America and protect Upstate New York jobs, family farms, and businesses.”
