ARANAC LAKE | The Department of Transportation will soon award Adirondack Regional Airport more than $2 million for runway rehabilitation work, including the installation of runway sensors.
“I am proud to announce over $2 million will be returned to our district in the form of this grant,” U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik said in announcing the funds Aug. 20.
“This award will help improve our essential airport infrastructure, which connects tourists from across the country with the beautiful Saranac Lake area and the rest of the Adirondacks. I will continue working to deliver results like this to our North Country communities.”
