Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 53rd Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I worked across the aisle to address the challenge of isolation facing older Americans living in nursing facilities during COVID-19,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “This legislation would help provide telehealth capabilities & virtual social visits to our loved ones in nursing facilities.”

The ACCESS Act would authorize $50 million in emergency funding from the Department Health and Human Services’ Telehealth Resource Center to assist nursing facilities in expanding their use of telehealth services. It also establishes a grant program to allow nursing homes to facilitate “virtual visits” between residents and their loved ones during the pandemic.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
