Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 28th Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I helped pass important legislation that will provide resources to treat opioid addiction and curb abuse in our communities,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “The opioid crisis has unfortunately had devastating impacts on the North Country, and I have helped lead the effort in Congress to combat the opioid epidemic.”

The legislation that Congresswoman Stefanik supported will help to treat opioid addiction and curb abuse by limiting opioid supply for temporary-use patients, imposing sanctions on the Chinese drug manufacturers who enable drug traffickers, supporting treatment for incarcerated individuals with opioid-use disorders, promoting access to non-opioid treatments in the outpatient setting, and boosting controlled substance monitoring.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
