Letter to the editor: Stefanik’s team helped in time of need

The Post Star

Editor:

Early last spring I was involved with a matter with the administrative section of the Coast Guard, probably one of the most bureaucratic parts of the U.S. government. Numerous letters and emails were exchanged to try to resolve the matter which resulted in no progress, just a bad experience with the wall of government bureaucracy.

After several months of increasing frustration, I contacted the Glens Falls office of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for assistance with the matter. Within a week of her staff contacting the Coast Guard, I received the approval documents.

Thank you Congresswoman Stefanik, you have my vote.
