Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., has earned the praise of the President of the United States.
President Trump was very active on Twitter Sunday, sending out numerous tweets and retweets. He used a couple of those tweets to show his support for Stefanik’s performance in the first public impeachment hearings this past week.
“A new Republican star is born,” Trump proclaimed ashe retweeted a video clip of Stefanikquestioning former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.
The president then retweetedanother video that Stefanik had sharedherself on Friday. It shows a moment when sparks flew between the North Country congresswoman and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff as he blocked her from speaking.
