WASHINGTON, D.C. | Surveillance cameras will soon be installed at Plattsburgh Housing Authority properties thanks to a $250,000 federal grant.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development grant will be devoted to the installation of surveillance cameras at the agency’s various properties.

U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, who announced the funds April 1, said “The Plattsburgh Housing Authority provides affordable housing for many North Country residents, and this funding will be directly put towards measures to improve their safety and security.”
