SARATOGA, NY – Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik announced that she has received the endorsements of 1003 local elected officials from all 15 counties in New York’s 21st Congressional District, including 921 Republicans, 12 Conservatives, 47 Democrats, and 23 Independents.
“I am excited on behalf of Oneida County to have a representative in Elise Stefanik. I am confident that Elise will continue to deliver great things for her district in Oneida County, and her visits here are a testament to her dedication to her future constituents. I am proud to endorse her for re-election,” Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente said.
“As the Supervisor of Potsdam, I look for strong leadership like that in Elise Stefanik. Elise is a great representative for our district who delivers for her constituents. I am happy to endorse her,” Marty Miller (D), Potsdam Town Supervisor.
“As Mayor of the City of Rome, I am proud to endorse Congresswoman Elise Stefanik as the new representative for our community. Congresswoman Stefanik’s proven leadership and extensive experience, particularly her work on defense and national security issues, align perfectly with Rome’s deep-rooted history as a military installation. With assets like the Rome Lab and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), her presence on key committees will be invaluable in securing the continued growth and success of these critical institutions. I am confident that her dedication to our nation’s defense and her commitment to economic development will greatly benefit the City of Rome and ensure a prosperous future for all of us,” Rome Mayor Jeff Lanigan said.
“I am gladly endorsing Congresswoman Stefanik’s re-election because she has a solid record of delivering results for Clinton County and the North Country. As Co-Chair of the Northern Border Caucus, she’s giving our communities the voice we need in Washington D.C. She’s helped the North Country strengthen its economic partnerships with Canadian business and put us on the path for long term job growth,” Clinton County Board of Legislators Chairman Mark Henry said.
“I’m endorsing Congresswoman Stefanik because she truly cares about us up here in Franklin County. She’s always listened to our concerns and makes the effort to keep in contact. After this summer’s storms brought the worst damage we’ve seen in years, Elise immediately reached out and then got to work. I’m grateful for her advocacy with state and federal officials to secure disaster relief for Upstate New York,” Franklin County Board of Legislators Chairman Edward Lockwood said.
“I am humbled and honored to earn the endorsements of so many local leaders across NY-21. Each elected official who endorsed me, regardless of party, understands my unwavering commitment to the Upstate New York and the North Country and my consistent record of delivering results for families, small businesses, veterans, seniors, law enforcement, and more. Serving as NY-21’s voice in Congress is the greatest professional honor of my life and I look forward to continue my service in the 119th Congress,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
