ESSEX COUNTY, NY – Today, 65 Essex County elected officials including Republicans, Conservatives, Democrats, and Independents endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election to Congress. This marks a record for the number of endorsements Congresswoman Stefanik has earned in Essex County with endorsements from every town in the county.

“She helped us secure a $122,000 grant to renovate our police station which was in desperate need of repair. After the July storms, she was one of the few officials who called me to ask how Moriah was doing. She and her staff have always been responsive. She’s doing a great job for the people of Moriah and Essex County and there is no one better to represent New York’s 21st District. I am proud to fully endorse Elise Stefanik for re-election,” Moriah Town Supervisor Matthew Brassard said.

“Elise Stefanik has proven time and time again through her actions that she is a true representative for the 21st District. Economic development and revitalization are critical endeavors in Ticonderoga, and Elise demonstrates that she recognizes this through her support on vital issues such as broadband access, fire protection, restoring cross border travel, jobs and affordable housing issues, and funding for safer drinking water,” Ticonderoga Town Supervisor Mark Wright said. “In understanding the importance of our area’s historic past to our future potential, Elise has supported us while also on a national level continuing to fight for the rights of all Americans on issues such as our sacred 2nd Amendment rights. Our region is vast in area but small in population, but we have a right to be heard. With Elise as our voice, our smaller Adirondack and North Country communities are finally heard. Elise Stefanik has delivered and continues to deliver Real Results to Ticonderoga and the North County region and has my full endorsement.”

“As Sheriff of Essex County, I have seen firsthand how Congresswoman Elise Stefanik consistently supports law enforcement and advocates for the needs of rural communities like ours. Her dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of our citizens, coupled with her attentiveness to the unique challenges we face, makes her an invaluable ally to law enforcement and the people of Essex County. I am proud to stand behind her continued leadership and commitment to our community,” Essex County Sheriff David Reynolds said.

“The support Elise has given to Lewis is huge. Elise and her staff have been very active and worked hard to secure money for our town that will create jobs, draw people in, and benefit hardworking families. This is only possible because of Elise’s tenacious work ethic. She’s always been a friend of the North Country and she’s always been concerned about what’s going on up here and makes sure our little voice is heard in a big way,” Board of Supervisors Vice Chairman and Lewis Town Supervisor James Monty said.

“I’m honored to earn record endorsements of so many local elected officials in Essex County. Regardless of political party, I’ve worked closely with leaders across Essex County to deliver real results for our communities. I look forward to continuing to serve as a voice for Upstate New York and the North Country in Congress,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
