Governor Andrew Cuomo’s decision to force our nursing homes to accept COVID-19 patients countered the CDC’s recommendation for a safer, case-by-case approach. Facilities without the capacity for proper infection control should not have been mandated to accept COVID-19 patients, and this disastrous policy led to the tragic death of thousands of our seniors.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
