Franklin County Conservative Party endorses Elise Stefanik
Brighton – Elise Stefanik won the endorsement of the Franklin County Conservative Party today after its executive committee met with and interviewed Stefanik and Matt Doheny, both candidates in the race for the 21st Congressional District. The endorsement of Stefanik by the Franklin County Conservatives demonstrates growing support and continued momentum for Stefanik’s campaign.
Following the Franklin County Conservative Party endorsement, Chairman Robert White released the following statement
“Our committee members peppered Elise and Matt with dozens of questions covering a wide range of issues while they jointly met with us for more than an hour and a half today. It was clear from committee member discussions afterwards that Elise was the stronger and more Conservative candidate. She is young, intelligent, well-spoken, has actually worked in the White House, has worked as a key member of a national vice-presidential campaign, she stood up for free speech rights as a Harvard student, and is a strong advocate for our Second Amendment rights. Nobody is going to push her around in Washington. It was also clear that she is respectful of other peoples’ positions and will be a role model for young people who feel left out of the current political system. She has lots of courage, and she will need it when she gets to Washington. Elise was willing to take on the incumbent when nobody else was. She represents a new generation of brave, sincere, and smart leaders that our country will need to clean up the mess in Washington.”
“I’m humbled to receive the support of the Franklin County Conservative Party today. To win this race, the 21st Congressional District needs a principled conservative voice in Washington to fight on behalf of our small businesses and hardworking families,” Stefanik stated following the endorsement. “I will continue working hard to earn the support of voters in this district.”
