GLENS FALLS, NY – Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s campaign released the following statement regarding her Far Left Downstate Democrat from Poughkeepsie’s disrespect for Upstate New York families and small businesses.
From Congresswoman Elise Stefanik:
Senior Advisor to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Alex DeGrasse, stated:
“Downstate Democrat from Poughkeepsie Matt Castelli continues to show Upstate New York and North Country voters that he is an out-of-touch downstate elitist with no respect for them and is willing to stoop to any level to score political points. It is unimaginable that someone would tie up several tables in a local restaurant at the start of the dinner rush hour to do an interview without requisition permission from the owner and then not buy a single item. But that’s just what this Downstate Democrat from Poughkeepsie did. Luckily, in 15 days, Upstate New York and North Country voters will send this carpetbagger back to Poughkeepsie and re-elect Congresswoman Elise Stefanik with a historic margin.”
From Stuart Nippes’ Facebook:
“The smile on my face is not happy to meet Matt Castelli it’s knowing that I’m going to be able to expose just another Democrat for what they are.”
“Called for a reservation for lunch, show up after 4 o’clock With spectrum channel 9 news in tow, tie up several tables in a local restaurant beginning of the dinner Rush hour. NEVER asked for permission to do an interview.”
”Another self-righteous Democrat who thinks that he can do anything he wants anytime he wants to anybody he wants is this what we want in Washington.”
“I think not.”
“Just to top it off Matt Castelli didn’t buy anything tied up several tables and didn’t spend a dime.”
“If that was a Republican doing an interview in a local restaurant they would’ve had enough people to fill the restaurant and they all would be spending money.”
“Oh by the way Matt my name is Stuart Nippes chairman of the Republican committee town of Sand Lake.”
“This is where I tell you to like it and share it and make it go viral.”
