GLENS FALLS, NY– Far Left Downstate Democrat from Poughkeepsie Matt Castelli is Taxin’ Tedra Cobb 2.0 after a leaked email surfaced from Brunswick Democratic Committee Chairwoman and self-declared top organizer for Down State Democrat Matt Castelli claiming that the issue of guns is an incredibly “tricky one” and that Downstate Democrat Castelli could not support a gun ban publicly because if he did he “would absolutely lose.” The email also smears North Country gun owners by saying the “base’s obsession with guns.”
“The issue of guns is an incredibly tricky one in this upstate district. I know a lot of us would prefer a stronger stance on guns, but he would absolutely lose if he took that stance…” – Jennifer Mann, the chair of the Brunswick Democratic Committee and Matt Castelli supporter said in an email to supporters, which is included below.
This Far Left Downstate Democrat from Poughkeepsie previously supportedCorrupt Kathy Hochul’s GUN BANNING legislation(which a federal judge struck down much of just yesterday) and has said that in Congress, he would support “robust red flag.AKA a GUN BAN” But in recent weeks has desperately tried to backtrack from these anti-Second Amendment stances that are deeply out of touch with Upstate New York and North County values.
Mann’s email will remind Upstate New Yorkers and North Country voters of comments Taxin’ Tedra Cobb made in 2020 to supporters whenshe told them she supported a gun ban but won’t say so publicly becuase it would lose her the election.

Just like Taxin’ Tedra Cobb, this Far Left Downstate Democrat from Poughkeepsie is a true enemy of gun owners’ rights which is why he earned an “F” and will be soundly defeated by Congresswoman Elise Stefanik in November.”
