GLENS FALLS, N.Y.—Today, the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers once again endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election. The NYS Troopers PBA advocates for their 6,000 members to help increase safety protocols for troopers so they can safely and effectively protect and serve our communities.

“The Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers is proud to once again announce our endorsement of Elise Stefanik for reelection to Congress,”said Thomas H. Mungeer, President of the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers.“Elise has always valued our mission of safety and law and order, and we have been able to count on her to be our champion in upstate New York and the North Country. Especially at a time when the ‘defund the police’ message and so-called bail reform have resulted in an ever-increasing crime rate, Elise has worked hard daily to protect our rights as law enforcement officers so that we can continue protecting our communities throughout New York. Our union looks forward to working with Elise throughout the campaign and her next term in Congress. She has our complete support.”

As a proud supporter of our New York State Troopers and all of our brave law enforcement officers, I’m humbled to once again earn the endorsement of the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers,”said Congresswoman Stefanik.“Kathy Hochul and Far-Left Democrats’ dangerous ‘bail reform’ and Defund the Police agenda have cost lives and hurt law enforcements’ ability to keep our communities safe. The NYS Troopers PBA works tirelessly to advocate for their troopers so that we have a well-equipped, safe police force to best serve and protect communities. I will continue to fight every day to ensure they have the tools and resources they need to safely protect New York families, and I look forward to continuing to champion policy proposals that protect our law enforcement in Congress.”
