WASHINGTON, D.C. | The Warren County Head Start Program will receive a much-needed financial boost thanks to a $1.5 million grant from the Department of Health and Human Services.

The Head Start program provides comprehensive early childhood education and development services to promote school readiness for low-income children.

“There is no greater investment than one that helps our children, and I am always excited to announce funding for our North Country Head Start Programs,” U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik said in announcing the funds March 4.

“This new grant will allow Warren County’s program to continue helping kids in our rural communities.”
