SARATOGA— The Police Benevolent Association of New York State endorsedCongresswoman Elise Stefanikfor re-election, the NY-21 Republican incumbent’s campaign announced Thursday. The PBA of New York State represents the New York State University Police, the New York State Environmental Conservation Police, the New York State Park Police, and the New York State Forest Rangers.

“Congresswoman Stefanik has one of New York’s strongest records when it comes to standing up and defending our law enforcement officers who are under attack across New York,” PBANYS President Ryan Law said in a statement.

Law described Stefanik as a “strong champion and vocal advocate to protect the Adirondack Park as well as the North Country’s many other State Parks and historic battlefields.”

“This critical endorsement reflects the broad support for my campaign from law enforcement all across the North Country,” Stefanik said. The Congresswoman has been endorsed by a number of law enforcement groups. She faces Democrat Tedra Cobb November 3.
