Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 61st Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.

“I announced that the Glens Falls Housing Authority will receive crucial Department of Housing and Urban Development grant funding to provide resources & services for youth who are facing homelessness,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I’m proud to support these crucial programs that directly benefit our #NY21 communities.”

You can view this Result here.

This award is for the Homeless Foster Youth to Independence Initiative, a program that invests in local, cross-system collaborative efforts to prevent and end homelessness among youth with a current or prior history of child welfare involvement. Local housing authorities carry out very important work to help combat homelessness, especially among our vulnerable childhood population, and they rely on federal funding, and this grant will make a direct impact for at-risk youth in our communities.

Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
