Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 42nd Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.

“I voted to support North Country veterans’ efforts to be as competitive in the workforce as possible after their service to our country and ease the financial burden on those who are disabled due to their service,” said Congresswoman Stefanik.

The FREED Vets Act codifies the policy of President Trump’s 2019 memorandum that directed the Department of Education and the Department of Veterans Affairs to automatically discharge the student loans for eligible veterans who are unemployable due to disabilities stemming from their service. Elise also voted for the Support for Veterans in Effective Apprenticeships Act, which requires the Department of Labor to ensure registered apprenticeship programs are aware of available education assistance for veterans and that veterans have equal access to these programs.

Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
