Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 32nd Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.

“I successfully fought to extend Medicare and Medicaid’s emergency telehealth waiver program for at least 22 months,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I am fighting to extend this waiver program so that our most vulnerable, especially our seniors, can continue to use this resource while staying safe from COVID-19.”

During COVID-19, many patients have used telehealth services to treat their non-COVID-19 related health issues. Under Medicare and Medicaid emergency telehealth waiver this waiver, a range of providers are able to offer telehealth to their patients. This has been critical for North Country families, and seniors in particular, to get care while staying home in order to avoid exposure to the virus.

Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
