Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 14th Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“Fort Drum is the only installation in the nation that is powered entirely on site by renewable energy,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I am proud to continue my support for this 100% energy independent system that creates jobs, conserves our local environment, enhances the base’s capabilities and protects our national security.”

Fort Drum continues to be a national leader in the use of alternative energy, which strengthens their ability to conduct combat operations and humanitarian response. The base is now completely energy independent and self-sustainable, which will conserve our resources while enhancing the base’s capabilities. This is an important win to protect our national security, bring jobs to the North Country, and protect our local environment.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
