WASHINGTON, DC (WRGB) Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has been named to Leader Kevin McCarthy’s China Task Force.
Stefanik, who has been no stranger to demanding China be held accountable in the recent COVID-19 pandemic will be one of 15 members of Congress on the task force.
“The Communist Party of China intentionally withheld critical information on the spread of COVID-19 that could have saved thousands of lives,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “To this day, China continues to spread misinformation regarding this health crisis. The Communist Chinese Government must be held accountable. I appreciate Leader McCarthy naming me to the China Task Force and am looking forward to getting to work.”
