We have a unique Olympic history in the North Country. When I met with local officials and members of the USA Luge team in Lake Placid and heard they may leave Lake Placid, I went to work immediately. I partnered with local and state officials as well as business leaders in the region to make sure the USA Luge team stayed in Lake Placid. I will continue to work to preserve our rich Olympic history while helping to create future Olympic opportunities.
