The heroin and opioid epidemic is causing devastating effects on families across our district. I’ve heard countless heartbreaking stories from families throughout our community who have lost loved ones to this crisis. As a Member of the Bipartisan Heroin Task Force in Congress, I’ve secured over $4 billion in funding to combat this epidemic, and I will continue to work with my colleagues to prevent addiction, expand treatment options, and promote recovery.
