FOR PRO-GROWTH RECORD OF RESULTS ON JOBS, ECONOMY AND TRADE

– National, State and Local Leaders Recognize Stefanik as Champion For Job Creators and Small Businesses; Only “Pro-Jobs” Candidate in #NY21 –

Glens Falls: The Stefanik campaign today announced Congresswoman Elise Stefanik was endorsed for reelection by the United States Chamber of Commerce.

At the US Chamber endorsement announcement, held at Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa, Congresswoman Stefanik was joined by a host of national, state and local business leaders, including representatives from the US and Saratoga Chambers and the New York State Business Council, as well as executives and employees of Curtis Lumber.

“The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Elise Stefanik, who has been an ardent and consistent voice for pro-growth reforms and pro-jobs policies,” said Nick Vaugh, Eastern Region Manager of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “She understands the hard work, perseverance, challenges, and risks that go along with building and growing a business, and she has shown true drive for helping prepare New Yorkers for the workforce of the future. Elise has been a great partner for the Upstate business community throughout her time in Congress, and she should be elected for another term as their advocate in Washington.”

“Elise is accessible, effective, and she cares about this community,” said Todd Shimkus, President, and CEO of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. “She cares about small businesses, local farms and she cares about family owned businesses like Curtis Lumber.”

“There’s truly only one candidate in the race here in the 21st District, that is pro-jobs, pro-economic development and pro-business,” said Lev Ginsburg, Director of Government Affairs, Business Council of New York State.

“Elise knows and understands our industry,” said Doug Ford, Vice President of Curtis Lumber. “She is working hard on our behalf, with members from both sides of the aisle, to address issues impacting the housing and construction industry.”

“Growing up in a small business family, I know first hand about the hard work, long days and determination it takes for small businesses to be successful in Upstate New York,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “That’s why, from my first day in Congress, I prioritized fighting for job creation and for pro-growth economic and regulatory policies for North Country businesses. I’m honored to receive this important endorsement from the US Chamber of Commerce.”

“Now more than ever, Congress needs leaders who truly understand the challenges of small businesses and the need to enact policies that will grow our Upstate economy and create good paying jobs. I’m truly grateful for the US Chamber’s endorsement, for the support of our state and local business leaders and for the hardworking men and women of Curtis Lumber for hosting us here today. I am humbled by the support of every hard working family and small business across the North Country, and look forward to a strong victory on Election Day,” said Stefanik.
