I’ve never met anyone more qualified and better prepared to represent us in Congress than Elise Stefanik. We can be proud of electing the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, but more important is that Elise is doing an outstanding job in her first term. In my opinion, she has earned a second term the old fashioned way — through hard work.

Elise Stefanik is on her own path. She lives in Willsboro and grew up working in her family’s small business. She graduated from Harvard with honors, the first in her immediate family to graduate from college. She was invited to serve in the White House under President George W. Bush, working on domestic policy issues. What a learning opportunity!

In her first term in Congress, she has focused on military matters, border issues and local agriculture, which are all critical to our area. With her work and government experience, she understands how regulations and mandates can impact small businesses and hold back growth. I have had the chance to speak with Elise and to hear her talk to local groups. Her depth of understanding is more than impressive; it is sincere and compassionate.

When you meet Elise Stefanik, you quickly realize you’re with a dynamic leader who uses all her skills and talent to help solve our toughest problems. Please join me in supporting Elise Stefanik and re-electing her to Congress.
